Cost of college went up for all students at Saint Vincent College

Tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2018-19 at Saint Vincent College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $35,462 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,032 more than the $34,430 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 456 students received grants or scholarships totaling $12.2 million and 356 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.9 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,867), 1,609 students used grants or scholarships totaling $40.9 million, and 1,197 students took out $8.4 million in federal student loans.
